Most Recent Comments on Cronyism As in Washington DC and Moscow, cronyism exists in Orange County, California's government and other county's. The depravity of cronyism in coroner, medical examiner, and county administrator offices far exceeds the moral turpitude of drug dealers. Those who buy from drug dealers have a choice. Victims of county cronyism have no choice to evade tax payer funded, fraudulent dealings. We have a war on drugs, silence about cronyism. Do people in Orange County still use the Internet? By reading this piece the reader will understand that a disconnect exists between Orange County's grieving residents on the one hand, and free enterprise cleaning companies on the other hand. You can take my word for it. Tax payers fail to search for cheaper crime scene cleanup companies because county employees intervene between the grieving tax payers and the free market crime scene cleanup companies. Orange County's families and businesses in need of crime scene cleanup services have much to gain by making it to our Internet, and much to lose if they don't make it. My business and others would flourish beyond expectations. But it is not so. How so? Asking questions like, "Why does our county's homicide, suicide, and unattended death" victim's families go only to coroner and administrator recommended companies. It's obvious that they do. Try a test for yourself if you doubt my bold statement of truth. Go to links. Here you'll see the facts. Move your cursor and see how many of these pages have my telephone number, 888-431-7233. Other Companies Hurt by Cronyism Telephone calls from other crime scene cleaners about cronyism seem to have increased. "How do you know when you have cronyism," I'm asked. "My business does not do well." Competition increased, without a doubt. I try to remain objective and stick to the facts because finding cronyism in local government follows from indicators rather than conspicuous displays. It's not unlike Washington D.C. or Moscow. It's not unlike finding racial and ethnic discrimination by numerical findings, rather than observation. - A high Internet marketing footprint returns few or no local calls for cleaning service. How it Works Heavily populated areas of our county use more Internet services than those with lower populations. So more people translates into more Internet use for public services, like Orange County Crime Scene Cleanup. Whatever the population situation, I should receive a minimum of 1 call per year for homicide cleanup, suicide cleanup, unattended death cleanup, decomposition cleanup, or trauma cleanup. The facts are that I receive zero calls for any crime scene cleanup work in Orange County, California, unless it comes from outside of California. I stopped using our Yellow Pages for marketing because they return zero calls. Sales people ask me how I know my Yellow Page adds don't work, which is an easy question to answer. When I receive legitimate telephone call I always ask, "How did you find me." Never do callers mention the Yellow Pages. Always do they say, "On the Internet." Finding a crime scene cleanup business without some sort of links to government employees becomes next to impossible in Orange County. How do I know, simple, do an Internet search. How it works. Death cleanup for more than one death rarely come the way of crime scene cleanup companies like my own. Why? Because crony companies receive these as soon as government employees catch wind of them. There's big money in multiple death cleanup work when insurance companies have to pay. A crime scene cleanup company like mine must travel many hours, many miles to ever find an insurance company in search of a Companies in business over five years rarely, if ever, clean homes with insurance for biohazard company. How it works. Local government employees learn quickly about violent deaths from violent crimes, suicides, and unattended deaths with decomposition. Before long, Orange County's employees begin to zero in on lucrative crime scene cleanup work like sharks circling wounded seals. Expect coroner employees, medical examiner employees, administrator employees, firefighters, homicide detectives, and others to seize control of these death cleanup jobs. Even lieutenants in coroners' departments take advantage of these additional, conflict of interest "perks." It doesn't take rocket science to figure out which crime scene cleanup jobs pay the most. Simply look for 3 car garages, swimming pools, and such. Of course, inside such homes proves the value of each death cleanup job. Seeing is believing. I don't get these jobs in Orange County, no matter how well I do on the Internet, no matter how closely I monitor my telephone, no matter who I talk to. Orange County, California has a corrupt government, and it does not appear that anyone in Orange County really cares. It seems ironic that Orange County, California was at the forefront of the anti-communism movement with its John Birch Society and the anti-communism hysteria we went through in the early 1950s. Now we've got our own county government muscling in on private businesses. Isn't this fascism, rather than communism? Explanation Because coroner and administration employees reach a decedent's family prior to each decedent's search for homicide cleanup or suicide cleanup help, county employees direct these victims to a blood cleanup company that pays a kickback, if an employee does not actually own such a blood cleanup company. Again, how do I know? I ask whenever I receive work from out of state, which is about the only way I can hope to receive Orange County biohazard cleanup work. What about local government employees? Corrupt employees do have their competitors, but these competitors reside in their very departments. Keeping a lid on this competition sometimes becomes crucial to their entire criminal enterprise. A supervising county official must keep the peace in many cases, or employees will not comply with he needs of all their department cronies. New employees bring a new threat to these criminal enterprises in our county governments. They represent the innocence of naivety. They have no idea that by breaking their conflict of interest pledge, they'll become filthy rich, and in a very short time. So there's a real effort by crony employees to lock new employees out of their enterprise. Usually when new employees do catch wind that fraud goes on 24/7/365 among their peers and superiors, they play ignorant. Finally, they keep quiet because of intimidation from those with more power socially and employment wise. Besides, there's more money for fewer people when new-comers get locked out of the cronyism's enterprises. New employees learn to remain quiet out of intimidation and a wish to remain employed. They know through personal experience that making waves too early in their county employment leads to people getting booted out of secure county jobs for failure to pass their "probation." So they go-along-to-get-along. And the big, fat lieutenant keeps a tight reign on the entire bunch. However, it is the case that county employees will "circle the wagons" when a imagined threat from outside their cubicle circles threatens the status-quo. Also, new employees are at risk of intimidation by cronies with seniority, rank, and privilege. Older employees go-along-to-get-along. For those employees wishing to do the right thing, whistle blowing returns few rewards and much ridicule in some circumstances. I worked for Orange County for 11 years and I know about this particular feature of county employment all too well. In Orange County whistle blowers become "rats" in the midst of those they expose because few employees receive termination notices. Last, I was assured by the Orange County Deputy Coroner that no consequences would be suffered by any employees caught giving preferential treatment to private companies. This meant to me no risk attaches to cronyism in the coroner's office. At times I charge half and even a quarter as much as my competitors. This includes traveling far distances. The public loses again because of cronyism. God help the tax payers because the county will not. Eddie Evans Crime Scene Cleanup |
