As personal problems go, obesity proves a point about suicidal behavior; carrying excess fat often leads to an early death. Heart disease, diabetes, liver failure, and other ailments come with excess fat. Some of us get luck, like some cigarette smokers; all suicidal in action, some luck out without paying the ultimate consequences.

So how do we reach this point of self-killing by over eating and lack of exercise? I can testify to these facts. Over eating becomes easier as the stomach stretches from each eating binge. Chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, pizza, corn chips, soda, and the rest add killer pounds as our bodies blossom into two and even three times a "normal" human body. Consider those shrunken bodies in the Sudan, and we could easily account for half of those starving soles in our one bodily mess, ah, mass.

We stress out because we gain weight, and then we eat to eat to comfort ourselves. It's a mad circle. Teens now overeat for the same reasons as adults. Both teens and adults become depressed when they become obese, or they become obese because they're depressed. It's sort of like the chicken and the ege.

Second there’s an individual motivation for having pot a personal problem. Finally once a personal problem has been defined, an individual begins to see possible solution to their problem and social mess surrounding.

Me, I don't see a social mess surround me and I don't see that I'm suffering from obesity. But then, I'm in denial much of the time.
