In August of 1999, a family living in Atlantic City, New Jersey called National Crime Scene Cleanup’s dispatch office. They were in need of a suicide cleanup for a relative who had owned a home in Bergen County, not far from New York City. Police had contacted them about their deceased relative and told them that a professional cleanup of the property was needed. Because this death was so unexpected, and Northern New Jersey was a nearly three-hour drive from where they lived in Atlantic City, Stephanie and her husband Andrew weren’t sure who to reach out to at first. However, NCSC was recommended to them, and when they made the call, they immediately arranged for a technician to come to their relative’s property.

Stephanie and Andrew made the drive from South Jersey to North Jersey for the funeral, and while in town, met with NCSC’s technicians. While the couple was attending the viewing and funeral, and spending time with family, NCSC restored the house of the deceased family member. After the suicide cleanup was complete, the property was once again clean and safe to inhabit.
